Sexting.... it's a skill. Some may come about it with natural talent, some just from experience, or if you're like me- it's just a little awkward and you have no idea what you are doing and end up laughing to yourself. I'm not talking about sending naked pics to one another. Anyone can do that- although, that also takes its own set of skills (I'll get to that soon).
What I am really talking about here is the sexting of detailed descriptions of what you would do to each other. Now like I said, I'm no expert at this, I find it horribly awkward and funny, but I have seen and heard about my friends and their sextcapades. These have provided many laughs for me. Just today, my friend showed me a text exchange between her and her "friend" (or in her words, her "magic stick"- my friends are special haha). This exchange was almost painful to read. Even I know good versus bad sexting. I didn't understand what Mr. Magic Stick was saying for the life of me. I just stared at the screen for a minute and then had to have my friend explain it to me. Check this out.....
WTF?!?! What was so hard about typing real words?!? And talk about killing the mood in a sextchange by talking about babies. I mean, seriously? Was that supposed to be a turn on?? Kudos to my friend for catching on and going with it. I would have used real words like a big girl in response- but I'm just a rebel like that.
Now on the flip side, she has filled me in on some much better
sextchanges she has had with an past "friend". Now, from what I heard,
he was quite the master at sexting and she was kind enough to keep a
screen capture for me and allowed me to use. The only catch is that they
both really like Star Wars and this conversation seemed to stem off of
one about Star Wars so it's a little weird but whatever, at least they get the point of sexting.
Like I said, a little weird but hey, whatever floats their boats.
Okay, let me get a quick word or two in here about sending naughty pictures. Don't worry, I won't share any pictures of this.
For guys, it's pretty easy and doesn't take any real skill to take a picture of their junk. There are only so many ways and angles to see a penis. I must give a little credit to an old boyfriend of mine though who did get really creative with it a few times and made it funny. And honestly, girls don't usually get off on looking at a penis on their phone (they are kind of weird looking). Mainly, we want to see the goods to see what we are working with and try to judge how big you are and so we can have a little something in return when you request to see our boobs all the time.
For girls, taking naked pictures takes skill and a lot of work. Sorry guys, not all girls were born to perfection and can just take an effortless photo and not be showing all their imperfections. Us girls have it down to a science. There is the mirror tilt to look taller and thinner, there is the sucking in and twisting but not too much because you don't want to create extra rolls, there are heels involved to make your legs look longer and thinner and help rid some cellulite and sometimes outfits just to spice things up. This shit takes WORK. But we do it to thrill you special guys out there. So feel special boys.

So how do you teach someone that is epically bad at sexting to become a master without rudely telling them that they suck?
