Payment

Last week, my mom flew off to Germany for a nice trip to visit her family and all her childhood friends. She does this about every 2 years or so now. I used to get to go along but now I'm "too old" and "have responsibilities" and "no money" and my parents are no longer footing the bill to take me with. Not fair. It's been about 4 years since I last got to visit and I am hopeful that I will get back there again to see my Oma and Opa before I'm flying there because someone has died. My mom said maybe next year she will take me with her. Fingers crossed this happens.



Anyway, she left last Tuesday and then as I was talking to her Thursday morning, she tells me that she forgot to take her international driver's license with her. She then asks me to drive out to her house (a good 45 minutes away from mine) to find it and ship it to her as quickly as possible. Well I drive on out there and can't find the key to the lock box anywhere. I call her in Germany, at 4 in the morning her time, over and over with no answer and then give up on the mission completely. Well I finally get a hold of her later the next day and then she thinks that she might have taken the key with her. FAIL.

So in payment for my troubles and wasted time and effort (and missing Grey's Anatomy!), I purchased some awesome faux leather leggings online with her card (don't worry, I plan to pay her back once I get paid ;)) and helped myself to some shopping in her closet which resulted in a new purse, wallet, and ring. Score! I couldn't wait around for payday to get my leggings though because I want them for some outfits I am planning that I want to wear in Flagstaff and if I wait, there is no way they will be to me in time for my trip. That is my story and I'm sticking to it!

Now I really want some pants like this! I am obsessed!
