It has been exactly 2 weeks since I got my nails done. I experienced a Shellac manicure for the first time and as a girl who always manages to chip her newly painted nails within 2 hours max, shellac is a miracle. My nails were super shiny and hard! To me, it feels like I have fake nails on, but they are shorter and my real nails. I love it. If I had my way, this would be the only type of manicure I ever get again. After 2 weeks, I have a few chips, mainly from me picking at my nails and some regrowth but they still look and feel great for the most part.
I would really love to get an at home shellac kit for Christmas. They are crazy expensive but honestly, I feel like it would be worth it. Then I could do it on my toes too!
