Change is Good

I am one of those girls that changes her hair (or gets tattoos or piercings) when I get bored with life and need a little excitement or need a change that I can control. So like I said, I got my hair done yesterday morning and I love it.

I have been going back and forth for over a year about whether or not to go ombre. Normally I have no problem deciding on a color and just going for it. To me, hair is just hair, it grows back, so why not have fun and change it up? I have had brown hair, platinum hair, dark blonde, medium blonde, dark red, light red and even purple. But for some reason, ombre always had me on the fence. The reason is that it often just looks kind of... trashy- that's the best word I can think of. Personally, I hate it when the ombre goes from a really really dark brown to bleached out ends. That drives me nuts and I think that is what I was afraid of with this hair color. But I found pictures on Pinterest that showed blonde ombre that was a little more subtle and loved it. So I went for it and decided to get bangs again. I am super happy with the outcome.
